Transformer, MV switchgear and LV board integrated — including prefabricated compact substations to NF C 13-100.
• MV up to ~36 kV • NF C 13-100 • Prefabricated or in-building • Delivered in 15–18 weeks
Beyond the transformer alone, a delivery substation is the point where your private installation connects to the public MV grid. We supply it as a package: MV switchgear, transformer, LV board, metering, protection and enclosure — designed to the French NF C 13-100 framework and the distributor's requirements. Two forms: a prefabricated compact substation (concrete monobloc, factory-tested) or a substation built inside a building.
| Element | Prefabricated compact | In-building |
|---|---|---|
| Transformer | up to ≈ 1,000 kVA | up to 2,500 kVA and beyond |
| MV switchgear | 2 incomers + 1 protection (typical) | per operating scheme |
| Enclosure | concrete monobloc | masonry / modular |
| Metering | LV | LV or MV |
| Framework | NF C 13-100 | NF C 13-100 / NF C 13-200 |
| Delivered lead time | 15 to 18 weeks | per project |
Exact configuration depends on the DSO and the applicable NF text — confirmed at quotation, specifications validated with the factory.
In practice, once demand exceeds what the local LV network can deliver (often around 250 kVA), the distributor directs you to an MV connection with a delivery substation. The threshold is set by the DSO at the connection-request stage.
A prefabricated compact substation arrives factory-tested, which shortens site work; it suits ratings up to ≈ 1,000 kVA. Larger or bespoke schemes are built in-building. We quote the fitting option for your project.
We supply the equipment documentation — drawings, test reports, declarations — that feeds your connection file. The connection request itself follows the DSO's own calendar; starting it early is the best way to avoid a finished substation waiting for power.
